This is one of the very FEW Aguilera joints I like. I find her voice grating where she tends too often 2 oversing shit. This one and "Still Dirty" blow me away. Her latest, "Your Body" is pretty tuff and I aDORE her Help for Haiti rendition of "Lift You Up." It's spirited and gently sung.
Ironically Kara (the songwriter) is an Ivy League graduate and incredibly intelligent woman (as well as a talented singer in her own right). When I first heard this song I fell off my chair because it's obviously the most ridiculous thing she's ever written I can't be mad though, because I look at it as a sweet kind of vengeance for her (and other females like her) that have to spend years slave writing under nincompoop males, with them swaggin' around while the girls are the real meat behind the projects, killing themselves in the studio for years on end---doing the writing, laying down the vocals for the demos, keeping everything on course while the boys are out goofing off with groupies and showing up just in time for the label meetings, and to of course collect checks or award accolades. I think knows this ain't exactly Shakespearean...yet laughed her ass all the way to the bank.
