Oh, great (imho, the best ) decade for music!! I'm not going to post a lot, but these songs have defined the decade the most for me
The Bee Gees - Stayin 'Alive Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall Part Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody John Lennon - Imagine ----------- Some other great and favorite songs The Beatles - The Long And Winding Road Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb The Clash - (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais George Harrison - My Sweet Lord Donna Summer - I Feel Love Kraftwerk - The Model David Bowie - Life On Mars? David Bowie - Heroes Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough The Jacksons - Shake your body etc. Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder ruled this decade and created great music, but it will be cunning, if I say that I am a huge fan, but I have great respect for each of them ... I think it will be a lot songs from these artists in this thread even without me. |

I liked 80s music better, because popular(white) music is much better, but the 70s dance jams are supreme.Authentic dance music made by great musicians.
Disco/Funk-The ultimate master of melody and rhythm.
I go 80s 70s 60s in that order-all fantastic music 2014-Year of the Parties |
