That website did that to be funny because he's saying it's Rick James and not Jesus on the cover because some people are disturbed by his cover because they think it's supposed to be Jesus.

I don't get why he has any response at all to a JC complaint. Are the people buying his albums going to be offended by something like this? Is he "protecting the brand?"

Rick James was a musical genius if u ask ME, but his lifestyle was rooted in drug abuse, alcoholism and some seriously unsavory conduct. There's simply NOTHING godly nor saintly about him. He was a playa and it eventually did him in. Musically tho...UNSURPASSED. A true major league hard-hitter in the Old School tradition. The most saintly thing he ever did tho was introduce Lady Tee to the world.

I have to disagree. The most "Saintly" thing Rick James ever did was just letting Prince be Prince.

A little something that I happen to know a little something about. I swear on everything that I hold dear, that something snaps Prince the fuck out of his bullshit, before what I believe was Rick's greatest regret...ends up being my fate, too!
