Hmm, Stevie, Larry Blackmon, Phil Collins aren't shabby as drummers either. Nice clip of Stokley though. He always threw down on the drums.

Yeah, and was a sesson drummer for Black Ivory among other groups.

He was also briefly in a band with the late Gwen Guthrie called East Coast.

I remember during the early years with Cameo Larry B used to sing lead

while playing from the drum set in the back. I know he was doing this then when

the band was on the Don Kirshner show. Stokley is a beast on the drums. Him

and MC's touring drummer Brandon Commodore are awesome when you watch

them duel drum on tour.
