I like both equally. 2014-Year of the Parties

I will go for: Donna Summer Bad Girls, -- cuz it was one of my first LP vinyls back then in 1979.
I was young teenager back then in '79.. and I bought Don't stop.. on vinyl 7 inch, (I did not buy the OTW album until much later).
For me, I will choose Bad Girls, imo it's a better album, and to me it was / is more important.
I still love Off The Wall. that is really strong.. too.
however, Donna Summer has a very special place in my heart, but I like MJ's 3 great albums a lot too, (OTW, Thriller, Bad). Prince 4Ever. ![]()

OTW Thriller Bad are only MJ albums I love, which makes you think the real genius was

Absolutely two of my favourite albums of all time. If I had to choose, I'd say Bad Girls.

But without Mike there wouldn't be a nearly half of Thriller and almost no Bad as far as writing the songs is concerned.
As for the question, can't say, I have never heard the Bad Girls album, BUT I loooooooooooooove that song! So if I was to decide between the songs and not the whole albums, Bad Girls would win. We really don“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Quicy deserves alot of credit, but Im kidding yall.MJ deserves more. He's the driving force, but his best work without doubt for me is with Quincy. What a COMBO 2014-Year of the Parties

I honestly love both albums, but Off The Wall gets the edge for me. Just the perfect blending of pop, dance, and funk.
Donna's Bad Girls was something else as well. Check me out and add me on:

I can see the excitement people have for Bad Girls, but I it never did much to me. It's too disco. Off the wall is disco too, but more masculine or something...i don't know I'll go for Off the Wall

I think if you're looking for strickly disco, then Bad Girls is it. I can see why Donna Summer was called the Queen of Disco. I dig both songs, to be honest.

I love Bad, Dangerous and History most .... so, what does this mean?
PS If you love so much Off the Wall, it is strange that you do not like Destiny and Triumph .... these 3 albums as a trilogy for me.

I look at Destiny, Off The Wall, and Triumph as a trilogy as well. Check me out and add me on:

Those are with his brothers.I was thinking solo.I liked both of them Destiny OTW Triumph Holy Trinity 2014-Year of the Parties

Yes, but it was Destiny and Triumph ( albums without Quincy) - an indicator that Quincy was not a major force in the career of MJ at the time, it was Michael itself, although QJ is a true professional and has made a significant contribution.

As much as a HATE disco, "Bad Girls" is probably the best disco/R&B albums ever recorded. I'd choose "Bad Girls" over "Off the Wall" anyday! "It's not nice to fuck with K.B.! All you haters will see!" - Kitbradley

Off The Wall hands down. Those Rod Temperton songs and horn and string arrangements are out of this world. Bad Girls sounds like a low budget album compared to OTW. Just like the white winged dove...

Bad Girls. Off The Wall is my least favorite Epic album by Michael (not saying it isn't great).

You might want to reconsider that. Quincy didn't do any writing on either of those, only production. Michael co-produced Bad though. And let's not forget Quincy hated Billie Jean

wow, Donna Summer was gorgeous....had a major crush on her after she starred in the movie "Thank God It's Friday"

Bad Girls because Donna, Georgio and Pete threw everything at it INCLUDING the kitchen sink.
Off the Wall by comparison is a little overrated lol both albums are classics though.

Been listening to this non stop over the last month or two
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
lol neither were. But Quincy was a talent when it came to production though I would say the production on this one is not as strong as the other two records they did. Lest forget the best records on OTW were not only written by Michael but also by Stevie Wonder, Rod Temperton and Tom Bahler ("She's Out of My Life" is a classic).

I feel the same way
Bad Girls is Donna Summer's best album and Off The Wallp is Michael Jackson's best album.I'll leave it at that.

These are the two albums that won Donna and Michael the most AMA's that year. I was so happy that night because I knew how 'everyone' loved Michael. And, to have Donna win the same amount of AMA's as he did was awesome to me.
