The Crazy World of Arthur Brown

60s shock-rocker with a killer band led by keyboardist Vincent Crane.

Fanfare-Fire Poem and Fire were the specific tracks I was looking for.

Since the poster uploaded the whole album, enjoy.

I grew up only knowing the song "fire" LOL. I think Carl Palmer is on drums on this song? A novalty record, but a fun one though.

Drachen Theaker played drums on the album. Carl Palmer toured with the band.

After the band broke up, Palmer and keyboardist Vincent Crane went on to form Atomic Rooster.

Pete Townshend has an Associate Producer album credit.

Back to England in 1966 and Arthur is ensconced in a Bohemian flat in Kensington - Vincent Crane is rehearsing upstairs and the embryonic "Crazy World of Arthur Brown" is born. After advertising for a drummer they meet Drachen Theaker who is returning from being too late for an audition with Jimi Hendrix. Mitch Mitchell gets the Hendrix gig and Drachen joins Arthur.

Just FYI but he's one of Pete Townshend's discoveries (along w/ Andy "Thunderclap" Newman and Speedy Keene) during the Track Records era in Whostroy! cool
