the org and music education... I've been a member for quite awhile. It just hit me how much knowledge is shared here and how grateful I am to be a member.
Gone are the days of spending hours in a Record Store, talking to people about music, getting blisters on my fingers from flipping through albums and CD's to find something new or at least something intresting to my ears. Gone are the days of discovering new music on the radio.
As this year comes to an end, I just want to say thanks to the org for getting me through it with your knowledge, opinions and recommendations. Looking forward to spending it with you next year and we dig through the crates.
Keep doin' what you're doin' It's not going unrecognized.

I agree G3000. I have a broad and eclectic music taste, and I find that many here on the org do too. There's aficionados of the early rock and RnB as well as hip hop, rap, "world music" and everything in between, and sometimes there's great dialogue (but sometimes not! haha). I've checked out some artists and songs mentioned here, or I've been reminded about ones I forgot about and inspired to go back and delve into them again. You're right that this has sort of filled the void of meeting fellow music lovers in record stores and swapping recommendations and enthusiasm. I cannot and do not comment on every thread that interests me, but yes it's not going unappreciated! Thanks org music lovers!
