Usher as a dancer..

Like every other male R&B artist he was heavily influenced by MJ.

How would you guys rate him as a dancer/performer?

I think he's solid, nothing spectacular but not awful either. I say 6.5.

I will answer by saying, Omarion is a better dancer.

... lurking i actually like his dancing in U Remind me & a couple other videos.

But him & every other R&B artist need to quit trying to steal MJ moves. There are way more dancers in the world BESIDES MJ. They need to quit dick ridin lol

He doesnt completely suck. I think he is a little above average, I would rank him the same as Terrib did but there are some male singers who are better like Omarion and even Chris Brown.

I think one of my favorite BET performances is the one where Omarion performs Touch and the choregraphy was really cool. I exactly remember the performance.

Personally, I think pop choreography in crisis for many years ... repeats and repeats. Dance moves become more complex, yes, but there is no revolution. MJ changed the game by making a variety of dance moves extremely well-known not only among people who follow the entertainment industry, but also in the whole world. We really don`t have such a figure today.

but I think that Usher has an impact on young artists in the dance department, so personally I put him higher than Chris, Omarion, etc.
For me, the influence and visibility - the main factors when we talk about the singer-dancer! There are millions of very strong dancers in the world, technically stronger than any pop/RNB-artist, but the advantage of the well-known artist - he can make dance move very popular.
So, for me, Usher is № 1 among male pop/RNB dancers today ... but that's not saying a lot.

I'm around that rating of Usher too. 6.5. Maybe he was a decent 7 back in 2001. But now he just bores me. Omarion and Ginuwine dances better than he does.

What? That's all you're giving him?? A 6.5? I think he's a truly gifted and great dancer. I still think Hammer is a freakin dancing genius who doesn't get enough credit though and he can still throw down today too. Saw him in concert 3 years ago and he killed it!

I also think Bobby Brown (at his peak was insane).

I agree with you.
I liked how Usher danced in early age, he was good. MJ has always been much more graceful and plasticine, Usher is more athletic, many people regard it as an advantage (not me wink ).
But his problem is that he always was very secondary.
"I don't know who you could really put next to him," said ballet star Mikhail Baryshnikov, reached yesterday in Madrid. "To imitate somebody like Michael Jackson is impossible. Why bother? You just relax and admire."
Although Baryshnikov praised Usher, he even said in 2001 that now prefer to look at the dancing Usher than MJ because with age, Michael was approached to dance prudently and Usher enjoys when dancing and doing it with youthful enthusiasm.

Hammer and Bobby Brown were good dancers and I do agree they are underrated. But Usher is ranked higher than Ginuwine, Omarion who are think are much better dancers.

No one is saying he cant dance. 6.5 is above average.

Azz

His dancing is terrible, his singing bad, his songs average to poor (recently, anyway).

What do I rate him? 4/10

Usher can follow what the choreographer tells him to do very well. As for all the others mentioned above except for Ginuwine they all can follow instruction very well to okay. Ginuwine always seemed to be a good dancer with moves that just flowed naturally and seemed to be spur of the moment as opposed to overly rehearsed.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
