Happy Birthday to the Architect of Rock 'n' Roll! No one can sing rock 'n' roll quite like Little Richard. It's amazing to know that we have this awesome legend still living and performing. His time making classic music was short but the music was so amazing that it'll be remembered forever. I'll be rockin' and a-rollin' to his first two albums!

Love the interview with Bill Boggs on there from 1984-ish.

Apparently, Richard did a show back in October this year at the Pensacola Interstate Fair and they say he was still on strong form, glad to hear it. He also marked his 67th year of public performing this year.

He is. He performed "Bama Lama Bama Loo" on that show, still sounded as good as he can at his age, still does his wooo lol

Hell, I could listen to him talk all day. He's just plain cool and hip and full of soul. I know more from his shit talking long before I ever listened to any of his music. And when he was hosting "Friday Night Videos" a few times, it was always a MUST see. If you were going out, you better stay at home because you would miss a hell of a show if you didn't. He was more entertaining than the music videos he hosted....."Uh...Prince honey, I was wearing purple when you were in pampers...You can't mess with me honey....I started it ALL....I am the originator and the architect and don't you forget it honey!".
