Angela Winbush Makes A Comeback

Well well well,,,this is mos def THE VERY BEST news I eva heard in a very looong time. I screamed lik a witch when I got my hands on this:

-Who is this brutha??

Angela Winbush makes a comeback

Angela Winbush is back and ready to do some big things in 2003. She has a new vision, a new attitude, and wants to come back as the new Angela. The CD that she is working on will be put together like a play with acts 1-10 of her life. She wants to complete work on her first gospel CD and wants to begin performing again. Angela said, "It's time for me to move forward. I'm coming off of the sidelines and I'm back in the game as a full-time player."
Over the past few years, Angela has been working with her ex-husband, Ronald Isley, and was the supervising producer of the Isley Brothers hit, "Contagious."
When asked about her relationship with Ronald, she said, "I don't get bitter, I get better. It was an amicable parting. I'm steamrolling ahead like Tina Turner number two." At some point, Angela wants to write a book about situations that women can find themselves in when they're married to a high profile public figure.
The new Angela can be seen and heard on a song and video called "Making History" by a group named Survivalist. I have seen some pictures from the video shoot and let me tell you that Ms. Angela has been keeping herself up mighty well.

This sista was BAAAD!! Glad to see she's gonna get back out there... Hmmm... I didn't know she & "Mr. Big" were divorced. Maybe his being "Mr. Big" was part of the reason why!

I will admit that I really dug her most when she partnered with Rene Moore to form the duo of Rene & Angela. Some of their slow jams were classic! "You Don't Have To Cry", "Your Smile" and "Imaginary Playmates" were particular favorites of mine.

Their partnership ended on a really bad note mad . Too bad so much bad blood had to erupt between two people who made great music together. disbelief

Thanx 4 the link

I read many newsletters about how she got *abused* by both men(Ron & Rene). Can't wait 2 get her book and her cd. I cried when I saw her pre4ming "I learned 2 Respect The Power Of Love" in the apollo,,what a voice. And YES I agree that her stuff with Rene were the best,,you could feel their chimsetry in their music.

"Imaginary Playmates" is my FAVE jam from them.

and...i laugh. that was me laughinh - "hehe"

i apologise for being frivolous,

we have a thing in my student house where if someone has a name with something funny in

we say pretty much what i did.

i guess it was the equivalent in this case of shruggin my shoulders and talking to myself.
