I wouldn't say 3+3 was hard rock even though Ernie got in that ass on Who's That Lady and Summer Breeze. I thought this was a very soulful album which is why every black household during this time had the album. Live It Up was a blend of rock and r&b. Live It Up was very rock oriented as well as another track on side 1 which escapes me at the moment. You had the soul of Lover's Eve and Hello It's Me. Don't laugh at my funk

Need a Little Taste of Love went hard as fuck... but that's on side 2 I think. I love Go For Your Guns because it stayed on the funk and rock sides for the most part (Voyage to Atlantis was their only ballad on it).

Yeah that's it. When i think of 3+3 i think of the soulful ballads like Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight, You Walk Your Way, and Highways of My Life which is probably my favorite Isleys ballad. Don't laugh at my funk

I love If You Were There and Highways of My Life from 3+3. Their take on Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight was very bluesy...

Talk about a group that should have done an acoustic set of their discography.
