im feeling rgus song but there is always a but it feels as if its missing something musically not vocally. i remember in the 90s winter use 2 b the time 2 release ballads cuz they sold better and were more well recieved but by this being her 1st single idk . i hope it does well b/c she is a talented singer | |

Wow-already #3 on itunes...I wasn't sure how popular she was but apparently she's got enough fans from "Braxton Family Values" and "Tamar and Vince". If this keeps up the radio will start playing her. Her sister Trina's "Party Or Go Home" didn't even crack the top 100 on itunes

 Lady GaGa has helped Tamar Braxton reach number one on the US iTunes store.

She always had a great voice but I was never into her first album or the songs she released off of it
anyway just based on her itunes success (I'm not sure if "Love and War" has been on radio yet), Tamar debuted this week #57 on the hot 100, #13 on the r&b/hip hop chart and #5 r&b. Those are great first week numbers but now the test will be if her song becomes a radio hit, as her song is slipping down itunes. [Edited 12/13/12 14:36pm] | |

I hear a little bit of Toni, a little bit of Mariah... Nice song. Good kiss and make-up song for married couples, actually.
Saw her this week on Wendy williams and her nerves were so bad. Po thang was scared out her socks and could hit nary a note. Yet saw her do this on her show in rehearsal for her first music showcase a few weeks ago and she just glided in and out with no problem, and sitting down, I might add. | |

I caught the middle part of the song this morning not knowing who it was..While I was listening I thought “Toni got a nice single”, then when she went to a Higher register I thought “That ain’t Toni that’s Mariah” then she sung at a lower register and it sound like Toni but I knew it wasn’t my Baby…I know Toni when I hear her…Then the radio Dj said it was Tamar I was shocked but not SHOCKED…
Toni was on the Gayle King show last year and she told Gayle that Tamar is a MESS but she is also the BEST singer out of all the Sisters and she has the highest Range. I thought that was very interesting coming from Toni. Then Tamar was on the Gayle show months later and sang acapella and proved that she can SANG…
I’m glad Vince is backing her 100% so I expect her CD to be VERY Polished with radio-friendly-tracks from the beginning to the end…Tamar’s got the Voice, The Personality and The Beauty which is the Full package..

Tamar Braxton Reveals ALBUM RELEASE DATE
As her "Love and War" single (which we LOVE) climbs the charts, fans are naturally curious about Tamar Braxton's album release date. And now we have an answer. The still-untitled project will hit the stores on February 12, 2013 via Universal Music Group / Streamline Records / Interscope Records. Glad Vince finally let this girl LIVE. Just jokes... And in addition to her "Tamer & Vince" co-star LaShawn Daniels (who helmed the lead single), other album contributors include The Underdogs, Ester Dean, Stargate, and Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins.

^ those are some popular names she has on her album. For those who don't know her, that Ester Dean girl has been quite involved the last few years with writing a lot of the r&b and pop hits.
anyway, Tamar did a really good job today on GMA with her performance. You can find it online but so far the ones up on youtube don't have the audio and video in sync
