Her voice is impeccable. Her vocals, the lyrics, and the instrumentation on this track alone is all I need to know that Chrissette is the real deal.

Her albums are stellar. She's a 10.

She is one of the best female vocalist we have today. Criminally underrated.

I know I'm going to get it, but I don't think she is a good singer at all. She is average at best. Every time I hear her sing live, she is off key. She never hits the note. She sounds ok on record, but not live...that makes me think she's not a good singer.

Perfect example:

She never really hits the note. She uses a lot of vocal acrobatics and doesn't concentrate on her pitch.

I see your point a little bit in the first video but that is not the case every time she performs and with her which I find interesting is that she doesnt try to perform the same way everytime. Ive seen her live for myself and can honestly say this girl can sing.

Maybe sometimes she can be pitchy but that doesnt mean she is not a talented vocalist

I'd give her a 7 only because, she can carry a tune. I have seen her live myself, and aside from having the stage presence of a wall paper, she has been pitchy at times. She does not remind me of Billie, at all.

...and what purpose is that? To sound like everybody else? If she can hit them notes, then hit them. Don't hold yourself or your talent back.

I dig her myself........and I really dislike folks who can't sing in "tune".

I just don't think she is one of them. Her style is her own.

I can take her or leave her. Maybe I have become disillusioned by the music business, but it is going to take more than an interesting name and your ability to carry a tune, for more than one song to impress me.

I dont see what the problem is I guess people have their opinions thats fine. This woman voice is better than everybody playing on the radio right now. She does have her own style of singing which is wat I love about her singing style.

I will admit that I do like a few of her songs. I like more of the stuff she's done with rappers than her solo work. The track with Nas is really good, as is the song she did with Kem.

Saw her live. She delivers.

I like her and have seen her live. I have no issues with her. She's actually refreshing to hear. "Epiphany" is my ish.
