That DVD mentioned above was a very good capsule of that show.

She has a gazillion hits and is a lot of fun. She can sing live.

Like I said earlier, I love her probably more than any musical artist on Earth. And I've been to at least three of her live concerts, which she does not do often. But trying to be objective, she's nowhere near as good a live artist as Madonna, Beyonce, or the man who this site is named for. Having said that, if you love Mariah, you'll enjoy seing her in concert.

So the show was the other night...lets just say i agree shes a studio artist.

Randy Jackson was also there which was cool. Her husband played a DJ set to warm up the crowd, lots of MJ and Whitney, it worked to get a party vibe in the venue.

She played the following:

2 Touch My Body
3 Shake It Off
4 My All
5 Emotions
6 Always Be My Baby
7 I’ll Be There (Jackson Five cover – with Trey Lorenz)
Rock With You (Michael Jackson cover – Trey Lorenz solo)
Let’s Go Crazy (Prince cover – Trey Lorenz introduces the band)
8 It’s Like That
9 Fly Like A Bird
10 Close My Eyes
11 Hero
12 We Belong Together

The entire show lasted just over one hour. Very very quick but i guess im used to Prince shows so i guess im spoiled.

And this was the longest show on her Ausralian tour apparently...

Overall 4/10 would not see live again

Wow, that sounds really disappointing. I never expected her to play three hours like Prince or Bruce Springsteen, but when I saw her in concert she at least played a 90 minute show with encores included.

But man, she's got quite a rack.

yeah i saw ALLOT of really angry people leave the venue complaining of short it was.

im more like, if you are fan you should have expected this, even i knew it was gonna be a short gig.

cant beleive the "suprised" fans...or lambs (wtf??)

The show I saw in 2006 was closer to 90 minutes. I didn't know she was doing hour long shows.

Funny you guys mention Prince as having a long show because the last time I saw him (about a year ago) it was one of his shortest shows on the tour!
