Who Was Angrier In Thier Prime? Em Or Cube?

I'm talking Eminem Marshall Matters & Eminem Story era... & Cubes Death Certificate/Predator era.\

Bothof them where young, furious & spitting fire on the mic angressively about issues dealing with race, war, sex, homosexuality, gun control & other issues.

People alwauys say Em is the angriest around... but i have to disagree on that.

I personally think Cube was WAY angrier in his prime, plus while Eminem had dark, personal lyrics that where great.

Cube talked about a lot of social & poltiical issues with a strong eye... and he was never afraid to go off on anyone white, black, asian, mexican, middle eastern etc.

Where Eminem famously goes off on people who are usually a lot smaller than him lol

So who do you guys think was the angrier rapper in thier prime?

Em is aight but Ice Cube was waaaay angrier than him...still is to this day. Check out his latest single Everything´s Corrupt and you´ll see what I mean.

One of my favorite rappers. His show in 2011 in Hamburg was one of the highlights that summer.

He still brings it live, and deserves respect. My favorite angry person lol

I would say eminem was crazy and angry. Looking back at some of his lyrics I think they were overly disrespectful and offensive especially whenever he talked about his MOM eek I guess he was just angry about his childhood but calling his mom a bitch and other deragotory names seems pretty angry to me as well. I think that was just his way of venting and lashing out.

Em is/was a troubled man.

He made a string of songs about killing the mother to his child..

Em was darker and a lot scarier than Cube. For me its Em because when Em sounded angry he sounded a lot closer to snapping than Cube ever did, probably because most of the Em sounded like he had snapped long ago.

I say Em.

Honestly, NWA never sounded genuine to me. And after Cube went solo, he came off as more of a mouthpiece for those who shared his social vantage point than someone who was personally indignant.

Cube handz down. Em is a battle/punchline emcee where Cube was social commentary. Few can fuck with Cube's 1st 4 albumz from 90'-92', especially when a lot of the thingz he was talkin about was goin down b4 our eyez and got worse as the yearz went on.

Cube easily. Never been a fan of Em so I don't know his songs intimately and my "sympathy" for him as a dsyfunctional WASP male is non-existent (AmeriKKKa is set up for him to succeed and he said as much in one of his Slim Shady songs where he compares himself to Elvis in how he milks black culture... but I digress). I'll cut him SOME slack though for the familial issues, those transcend race AND the hood, but that mama/"baby mama" stuff is unacceptable (he needed to see Pac's Dear Mama for how to properly vent your mama issues).

Here's my beef with Cube. I LOVE me some P.E. til this DAY and I thought NWA were some legitimately angry black men but with no REAL political consciousness or activism, so I was kinda salty when they (Chuck and The Bomb Squad) hooked up with Cube. Once I gave "activist Cube" a chance, MAN, Death Certificate and Predator were soundtracks to my collegiate years! BUT, it stopped there, on record. Unlike Chuck, Cube never leveraged the politics of his records. Saw him live several times and he NEVER performed the more incidendiary tracks, just the more "accessible" stuff, UNLIKE PE. So just like he was a "studio gangsta" with NWA. He was a "fake activist" who only talked a good game. Chuck has real depth to his ideologies and Cube is more like his Friday character, he can TALK a good game, but at the end of the day its about that blunt!

So more "legitimate anger" from Cube cause it was railing against the establishment, systemic racism and PTSD (S=slavery) issues whereas Em's was more personal suburban dysfunctionality
