the only album released this year that i feel strongly enough about to call it 'an album of the year'

would be:

Bat For Lashes - The Haunted Man

beyond that, there were a few albums that i liked, a handfull of songs that i loved but overall it's

been pretty slim pickings this year for me.

but the Bat For Lashes album makes up for that since i love it as much as i loved some of my own

year end top 10 lists of this decade combined.

and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I have mental block with new music.I just can't open up to it.I prefer music before I was born,before the pain started or from my early childhood days.I sorta like an M83 album recently,but wasn't overly enthusiastic.
