WB has no reason cu.rrently to give masters back to him.

I'm not sure what happened with Ray Charles' masters, but the article said Metallica we be doing reissues of their catalog along with new material on their indie label.

Motley Crue did the same thing a while ago when they got rights back from Elektra Records (another division of Warner Bros) and rereleased their entire catalog on their own label, too.
