amazing song,
however "State Of Independece" is often overlooked,
since it came after the peak of Donna Summer's Bad Girls album,
after the disco era... Prince 4Ever. ![]()

I really like only MJ, from Donna I love only a handful of songs, but I'm voting for "Bad Girls", because MJ had some better albums (of differently - it`s not among my favorites for Donna it was an absolute peak.
I don`t know how anyone can consider this album low budget. Absolute disco classic.

Very hard choice because not only were both of these albums among the hottest albums of 1979, but also because both of these albums were both artists' best album of their entire career.
I would have to go with "Bad Girls" though because that is one of the best albums of all time from any artist. It's perfect in every way from the moods of the songs, to the order in which they were placed on the album, to the way each song segued into each other, on down to the cover art itself. The entire feel and flow of the album from start to finish, feels like you're in a an actual disco with the DJ spinning the songs in a back to back continuous flow with similar tempoed songs flowing into each other and then changing the tempos when you get to another side of each record with all the slow songs on one side just like if you were in a disco or a club and they slow it down for a moment and then pick the pace right back up afterwards. Even the font on the titles looks like a neon light on a disco sign and the artwork with all the hookers hanging out, well, it don't get no better than hookers. Hookers and disco, hell that's the ultimate baddest of the bad! . . .

Off The Wall, the title track -- is really fantastic
same with the Bad Girls title track,
But the biggest, most important singles were: MJ:
and
Donna: Hot Stuff
or am I wrong? Prince 4Ever. ![]()
