Who Is Hip To Dead Kennedys?

These guys are my all time favorite punk band!

They are as political as The Clash but a lot more fast paced and with some dark humor mixed in.

For those who have been curious abotu getting into him here is some of there albums in full cool

Check it out!

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Dead Kennedys were/are a pioneering early 80's Punk band. I had a friend who used 2 love 'em. I remember a song called "Too Drunk to Fuck," but that's all I remember. She made fun of me cuz I was always an R&B brotha and she wanted 2 introduce me 2 somethin' new. I wasn't feelin' 'em tho, but I always remembered that one song for some reason. :-O

Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up.

Big time. One of the bands that changed my life. I don't listen to them as much as I used to but their best stuff is as good as punk gets.

Saw their last show in Trenton NJ in November of 85 shortly before they split up, and it may be the single most exciting thing I've ever seen. I'll never get over the sight of Biafra riding the audience like a wave out to the middle of the slam pit, remaining on his two feet and never missing a lyric. Awesome show. Too bad the inter band poilitics are so toxic. I've seen the Jello-less version, and they were sort of OK, but let's be real, there IS no DK without him there.
