Ray Of Light & Homogenic

While not a huge Madonna fan, Ray Of Light is admittedly probably in my top whatever hundred or thousand albums of all time lol

And as a huge Bjork fan also is Homogenic... has anyone noticed the similarity between the 2?

In some ways ROL to me can almost be seen as a sequel!

Both albums have this icy cold feel to it, they both have these hard electronic beats mixed with symphonic textures & both have a very small use of accordion(Glass Accordion on Homogenic)

Madonna HAD to have been somewhat inspired by Bjork at the time, and Nothing Really Matters the video has Bjork written all over it.

Anyone else find the albums similar in styles & even some themes?

Funny you should mention this, I was blasting Homogenic the other day and the song Pluto made me want to load up Traktor and mix Skin from Ray of Light with it.

The albums do have strong similarities but both are whole, enjoyable listens individually.
