I could punch myself for this Soneones headphones at work were so low and I heard a high voice. She lives Mariah, so I'm like, dreamlover? She's like, Janet. I was so shocked I couldn't even respond except with its so hard to hear but I'll know it in a sec, then she started singing rhythm nation and I could have smacked myself! I have a weak ear I need to get checked, but though I'm a chronic stress sufferer I know Janet like back of my hand and feel upset that I looked like a nonfan for that and maybe my memory is even worse than I thought

Haha I know the feeling. I went to this festival few weeks ago and there was some high school talent show kind of thing going on and this one band was performing a song and I didn't recognize it, and at the end the host said "that was Boogie Man by Jackson 5" and my friend was like "lol you're like the biggest MJ fan I know and you didn't know it was a Jackson 5 song?".....I mean come on!! Motown songs are hard to tell sometimes. Is there any MJ fan who's more familiar with Jackson5/Jacksons songs than his solo career songs? I don't think so!! But yeah, no excuses...shame on me |

I don`t know at least half of Jackson 5 songs, just not very fan of ... so don`t worry. It's not that you don`t recognize Billie Jean or Earth Song. Me and my friend recently listened to Rihanna's new album ... yeh, I know ... When it came to Nobodys Business ... my friend says, "this song is very similar to MJ`s song ... probably used his sample" (and she is not even a fan) ... I could not learn the song before I read credits .....although it was pretty obvious. |

for me it's a big deal, I have all of janet's albums and so many of her singles and have studied her to death like with MJ....it's not like I have amnesia but I do get a foggy memory over simple things a lot when my stress level is high or if the weather affects it and stuff like that |
