Michael Hutchence 15 years ago today........The last great frontman

All debates of the future aside, Michael was the last great frontman, from a decade that also was the last great band decade. We will never knew the truth of that last night that lead to a moment that morning that would take the last great frontman away, but one thing that is not open for debate is that Michael was an amazing original talent, compared to a Jagger,Morrison type copy, he was unique in ways those two couldnt be. INXS was a unit that experimented with sounds, videos, mixes and production, a blend of dance funk rock and pop unlike anything since, there is no debate.

this was the morning before Michaels death

Michael was the bomb. I remember seeing INXS on Midnight Special, around 1982 or so and immediately knowing he had something special. Those moves were Jagger, Morrison and Prince all rolled into one charismatic frontman. Caught my attention for sure. I had known the One Thing from radio, but this took the band to a whole new level for me. I knew they'd be huge someday...didn't know it would take 5 years though, and that sadly, it wouldn't last long.

RIP Michael.
