Freddie Jackson's "Rock Me Tonight"(The Album)

Earlier 2day, I was down in the basement going through my old stuff(as always wink) and I noticed this vinyl's cover with dust all over it and BAAAM there's the album that I lost couple of years ago. This is the only LP that I owned from Freddie and this is one of the best debut albums in the 80's and what I love about this piece right here is its "mellow" in a time when everything is fast and loud.

LOL I remember saying 2 my girls "This is the afterparty LP" and indeed its an "Afterparty LP"

Personaly,,I think that Freddie is much betta than Luther.

And btw every song in that LP is the bomb,,,the Billie Holiday's cover is very intersting,,worth the check out.

Whateva happend 2 him anyway?? A voice like that should neva shut up esp in a time where REAL VOCALISTS are needed.

Jam Tonight was the steppers cut. You Are My Lady is still one of the most beautiful songs to me.
