HAPPYPERSON

Whitney & The Bodyguard Anniversary Editions Coming In 2013

quoted from another music forum
These two projects have been delayed because there are too many Whitney projects coming out between now and February, but these two anniversary editions are coming next year.

Some effort has been made to make the new material and liner notes special. This is not a cash-in -- they were talking about these before Whitney passed away.

There is no Arista, and Clive has had virtually no involvement in this. It's not an RCA project. It's the catalog division.

the Bodyguard is a really good movie

it felt like the time period, excitement and mystery

Whitney entered her 2nd level of superstardom at this period

love Kevin recollection of Whitney at her funeral 4 the movie

I agree.

The movie is terrible lol

But the first half is watchable I guess.

Without the music, its laughable.

lol It's okay for folks to disagree with you, you know. We all have different tastes, so don't take it personal, it's just a movie.

IMO, it sucked because Whitney wasn't a strong actress and the storyline was cliche with holes in it. Kevin Costner was pretty good acting wise...but that's about it. As I said before, again, IN MY OPINION, the movie overall wasn't great, but the soundtrack was wonderful.

You didn't disagree with me, you just threw out a comment saying the movie sucked with no 'why'

Please don't make this personal. I was just asking why you think the movie sucked. If you would have done ^^ that to begin with I wouldn't have asked you 'how did the movie suck'

I asked how did the movie suck (since It was the second-highest-grossing film worldwide of 1992, right behind Aladdin. The soundtrack became the best-selling soundtrack of all time, selling more than 45 million copies worldwide.

The film was also nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning three, including Album of the Year for its soundtrack album of the same name.

In the United States, The Bodyguard opened on November 25, 1992 in 1,717 theaters; it grossed $16.6 million in its opening weekend, ranking third. The film was in theaters for thirteen non-consecutive weeks, ultimately grossing $121.9 million domestically, and $410.9 million worldwide. It was the seventh highest-grossing film of 1992 in North America, and the second highest-grossing film of 1992, worldwide

spit Just because a movie makes millions at the box office doesn't mean that it was a good movie. And yes I said "the movie sucked" because #1, I can say it and #2 it's my opinion....something you are still failing to comprehend. I didn't make it personal, but obviously you just did. Take a chill pill and relax. pat It's not the end of the world just because someone doesn't like what you like. It's okay, it's called having a difference of opinion. If you don't know what it means, feel free to google the concept just like you did with those movie facts you posted. falloff thumbs up!

Clichéd plot

Wooden acting

No chemistry between the two characters

Quite boring by the time it gets to his home - or atleast during
