He used to give Axl shit onstage back when Faith No More were support for G'nR, said stuff like the only reason he wore a bandanna was because he was going bald. Slash mentions what an arsehole he took him to be in his book, eventually having to corner him in the dressing room and go like 'wtf mate'....
Sinead O'Connor! Remember when she tore a photo of the pope apart on American tv? After that she was bood off the stage at the Bob Dylan tribute concert. Her carreer never really recovered.
The interesting thing is that her actions were prompted by the uncovering of endemic levels of child sexual abuse in the Catholic church in Ireland. That was WAY before the scandal blew wide open in the United States. Really sad that Eric Clapton continued to have a career after his racist tirade and she was blackballed.
I'm also going to add Neneh Cherry to this list. One of her earliest songs protested Britain's invasion of the Falkland Islands, she did "Trout" with Michael Stipe (about sex education), "I've Got You Under My Skin" is about HIV/AIDS, she's open about the fact that she's had two abortions, and calls being pro-life pro-fascist. I would LOVE to have drinks with her someday -- she's really fascinating.

Then there's Morrissey....
I LOVE FNM & Mike Patton comes off like a dick... but i think it's just his sense of humor.
I used to think he was a dick, but after watching him more i think he just has a rather twisted sense of humor.
Also... this is Axl.
Like with Kurt Cobain & MANY others i am sure there is a reason he got attacked
Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener
All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

I forgot about Neneh. Mike Patton was just one of many who had bad things to say about Axl, that doesn't make him a putz (though he was something of a schmuck).
"We just let people talk & say whatever they want 2 say. 9 times out of 10, trust me, what's out there now, I wouldn't give nary one of these folks the time of day. That's why I don't say anything back, because there's so much that's wrong" - P, Dec '15

Argentina invaded the Falklands.
Argh, sorry! I'm the most verbally dyslexic person I know. When I came back from studying abroad (I'm American) I promptly informed everybody that I was extremely sad that I would no longer have an excuse to speak English.
