If I hear that shit one mooooore tiiiiiiiiiiiiime...... headache

The gym that I go to wouldn't lit up about playing that song and Nicki Minaj's "Pound The Alarm. I literally avoided going there the same time that I usually go, and you'd think something else gets played, but NOOOOOOOOO those motherfuckers are fixated on driving somebody crazy.

Maybe ther annoying method is their way to let trainees put their nuisances into working out, who knows lol

I can proudly say that I've NEVER heard a TS song

I seriously can't say what's so great about her, because I literally haven't heard a song of hers...

does she do shit-dance? hyperbland adult-contemporary? bland country? I have no idea

I don't know who she is, where she came from, can't even say if she came from American Idol or something...

Have you ever been to a mall or a chain restaurant lately, Joe? lol If you did, I guarantee you heard her song.

You know me, and you know you can trust me. So you know I speak the truth when I say Taylor Swift is phenomenal.

Listen to "Love Story" and tell me you don't tear up during the last verse!

People like to dump on her because they think that since she's so popular, it makes them "cool' to do so. But they are wrong, and uncool. Taylor Swift is a real talent.

She's like Prince in that no one will ever say she's the greatest singer of her genre. But she has a distinctive voice that works, and her song-writing is top-notch.

Anyway, Taylor Swift writes contemporary country songs, which is to say they're pop songs arranged for a country band. She doesn't write two-stepping country songs, if you know what I mean.

Well, I've probably heard a TS song without knowing that it was a song of hers, lol

That article itself is taking TS too seriously.

There doesn't need to be a Salon article about her.

She has as much substance as Debbie Gibson in the 80s.

Typing 'Taylor Swift' on the you tube search button and listening to the first song the appears on the results page is just a easy as writing your post.

Find her songs extremely irritating. Don't know why she's so popular, my guess would be it's because she comes across as a sweet, cute, blonde country girl with a catchy name?

We're here, might as well get into it.

I don't dislike her because I think it's "cool" to, there's a lot of top 40 music I listen to. I went to a music store one day looking for some music books and saw a book of Taylor Swift songs. I've seen a lot of sad and simple music books, but that one takes the cake. Additionally, her lyrics are simple and repetitive and are probably written in 20 minutes. Prince has a distinct voice like Taylor, but is also a great vocalist. Taylor rarely holds a note and has a really short range. Her style is about as unoriginal as it gets, a girl playing a guitar singing about boys, really? Even when she tried to branch out of her simple country pop style on WANEGBT, it sounds like someone trying to parody Avril Lavigne

she's definitely a smart one when it comes to marketing herself. kids relate to her, parents adore her, it's no wonder her sales are carrying on that strong.

on that new song of hers though I could swear she's singing off key in most of it. could she or any of her producers really not hear it? like, ever?
