That's the first one I got...
I was about 13 in 1981... I was in South Carolina, and my older cousins were playing it.

I HAD to have it... I got it for my birthday that August.

I remember in the summer of '81,Street Songs was the HOTTEST album on the streets Everywhere I went,someone was blasting that album.I was obsessed with it.

One of my favourites.

I have to rush to a keyboard and play the main riff along to the track when I hear it.

That video's always a bit tough to watch though. It looks like Rick had taken so many drugs that his body weight must have doubled.

I know everyone loves Rick & Teena's "Fire and Desire" from "Street Songs". I never much cared for it. I preferred "Happy" far more from "Throw Down".
