songs about Adultery
By asking for information, does not mean I condone cheating on a spouse/partner/lover
But I was listening to some music the other day and noticed that a few of them (sung by men & women) were about cheating on a spouse, and I was just listening to George Duke and remembered one of his more popular songs (1 that I love) No Rhyme, No Reason (is about the same topic)
What songs that you know of/by what artist cover this topic?
George Duke:Snapshots 1992
Girl, just take some time

Who Is He and What Is He to You - (Bill Withers, Stanley McKenny) 11:45 "Who Is He (And What Is He to You)?" Withers, Stanley McKenny 3:13
Me'shell Ndegeocello covered it on her 2nd album
A man we passed just tried to stare me down
And when I looked at you you looked at the ground I don't know who he is but I think that you do Dag gummit Who is he and what is he to you Something in my heart and in your eyes Tells me he's not someone just passin' by And when you cleared your throat was that your cue Dag gummit Who is he and what is he to you Now when I add the sum of you and me I get confused and I keep coming up with three You're too much for one but not enough for two Dag gummit Who is he and what is he to you Now you think I'm one not much for intuition Lord is that what you really think or are you wishin' Before you wreck your old home be certain of the new Dag gummit Who is he and what is he to you

SIMON & GARFUNKEL LYRICS"Mrs. Robinson" And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know. God bless you, please Mrs. Robinson. Heaven holds a place for those who pray, Hey, hey, hey We'd like to know a little bit about your for our files We'd like to help you learn to help yourself. Look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes, Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home. And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson, Jesus loves you more than you will know. God bless you, please, Mrs. Robinson. Heaven holds a place for those who pray, Hey, hey, hey Hide in the hiding place where no one ever goes. Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes. It's a little secret just the Robinsons' affair. Most of all you've got to hide it from the kids. Koo-koo-ka-choo, Mrs. Robinson, Jesus loves you more than you will know. God bless you, please, Mrs. Robinson. Heaven holds a place for those who pray, Hey, hey, hey Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon. Going to the candidate's debate. Laugh about it, shout about it When you've got to choose Every way you look at this you lose. Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio, Our nation turns it's lonely eyes to you. What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson. Jotting Joe has left and gone away, Hey hey hey.

First of all, there's a jingle out for Ashley Madison that is freaking AWESOME. The words are all about how a guy is out on the road, trying to make money for his family, and doesn't have anyone to talk to. So he fools around on his wife! Then he says - AND I AM NOT KIDDING - that he's doing that for his family!
I wish I could find it, or the lyrics. I looked last week and couldn't find it, but it's the jingle they're playing on Ashley Madison commercials now on XM radio.
So until then, here's an oldie but a goodie:

this is one of my favorites songs, but i don't know if this song counts. From the lyrics it seems to me that he thinks about committing adultery. he never actually does it. He has a conscious. It seems as if he only talks to the other woman. Now "me and Mrs Jones" you know they got a thang going on.
