Can We Discuss The Brilliance of Ms. Caron Wheeler?

I just wanted to show some love for one of the most distinctive voices to come out of the late 80's early 90's....

Loved this woman's voice since the first time I ever heard it. Had a hard time enjoying Soul II Soul as much without her. Love her solo debut, UK Blak. I've never given Beach of the War Goddess near as much listening time, but appreciate it (especially I Adore You, considering the great Flyte Tyme production). Don't feel like she's ever gotten the recognition that she deserves.

I wouldn't say her voice is distinctive-it sounds like of female singers at the time period, but she can sing. What's she up to now?

She still got it. Wish she'd share it more.

I always liked Caron Wheeler when she was with Soul II Soul and.... as a solo artist. I have locs down my back today because of that "Keep on Movin" video that I STILL think is dope.
