The dancing was a great gimmick! I got so into Forever Your Girl and Spellbound. I believe the first cassette I spent my own (allowance) money on was Forever Your Girl.

I was so excited by her American Music Awards routine.

Much love for Paula's Laker Girl days. I loved her choreography for Janet and Coming To America.

Her dancing was fire, but singing? Good God

I used to have the Forever Your Girl album, but "Knocked Out" is really the only song I can still listen to today. I never cared much for "Straight Up" even during its peak in popularity.

"The Promise of a New Day" isn't bad either.

I remember 'Knocked Out' being played on the R&B stations in my area. I loved it but its funny how her label thought to market her in R&B artist. I guess because that single was produced by LA and Babyface, who were gaining momemtum as producers.

Forever Your Girl is a pop classic ...Spellbound album was awful...

Rush Rush.... Oh God how I hated that song...her attempt at slow song was awful.

The Family Stand were writers n producers..I give props to her for havin the Ghetto Heaveners do her folowup.

I used to love to see her dance. That's where her true gift lies. Singing, not so much, yet her songs weren't that bad. I've always loved "Straight Up", "Cold Hearted Snake" is one of my favorites...but I love this one too:

I love Paula! her voice wasn't great, but I think her music was pretty dope. plus, she's a great dancer/performer. "Rush, Rush" might be my favorite of hers; I've been obsessed with it lately.

Paula was definitely not a vocalist but she sure has some hot trax. I still jam my Paula Abdul Greatest Hits album...yep I sure do.

Paula is a VERY underrated dancer/choregrapher and its quite sad because she is behind alot of the most iconic choregraphies from alot of other artists. I really enjoy her as a performer/dancer.

I have always liked Paula too. She is very underrated.
