Songs U heared 2 much

What are songs you used to like but that have been played so much on the radio you ended up hating them?
Here's my top 3:
Bohemian Rhapsody... Queen
Paradise by the Dashboard Light... Meatloaf
Viva la Vida... Coldplay

I never tire of hearing great songs. Certainly not to the point of 'hating' them.

ALWAYS AND FOREVER - HEATWAVE

I grew up listening to this song. EVERY family vacation and EVERY family trip my parents played this damn song. It makes me sick to my stomach when I hear it as an adult. barf

Damn... aight. I'll shorten this! lol

Viva la vida - Coldplay

99.9% of songs by Boyz 2 Men

Chamillionaire - Ridin' Dirty. (I know it was way back in '06 but fuck me... lol)

Whitney Houston - I will always love you

K-Ci and JoJo - All my life

Beyonce - Single Ladies

G'n'R - Welcome To The Jungle

Aerosmith - I don't want to miss a thing.

I've probably forgot a lot more but nonetheless.

OH man confused , I Will Always Love You needs to take a mother fucking nap.

I can't even stand to hear that song anymore cool , it was overplayed before Whitneys tragic death, but after.... eek

I don't get it really, she had so many hits! so many BETTER lol hits. I know chart wise that was her biggest.. but they can play one of her other 30,000 top 10 hits.

I know! I don't know why Adult Contemporary radio ignores her "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and "My Love is Your Love" hits. I think I heard a short version of "My Name is Not Susan" once, but that's it. Her R&B work is the strongest part of her catalogue imo.

I like Pop Whitney, but R&B Whitney sounds more authentic. And in general I enjoy R&B music more than Pop music.

I WOULD LOVE! to hear My Name is Not Susan headbang or Miracle.

I heard My love is your love... a few times. But that's it confused and i think that song hell that album is my favorite from her besides I'm Your Baby Tonight.

I LOVE Miracle! One of her best recorded vocals.

My Love is Your Love is my favorite from Nippy. It really is a timeless classic.

Sirius XM First Wave plays it every single day! It's one of the few songs I flip on that station. The other one I always flip is Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome To The Pleasuredome, not that it's overplayed but because it's a dumb song. I also flip Heaven 17's - Temptation, never liked it

When i was younger i was a juvenile delinquent and ended up doing some time in a juvenile facility. The counselors had this ritual where they would wake us delinquents up by blasting the top 40 radio station on the loudspeaker. For about 2 years( of and on) i subjected myself to that torture and 25 plus years later i still have a hard time listening to the following songs.

All Night Long-Lionel Ritchie

Hello-Lionel Richie

Against All Odds-Phil Collins

Take Me Home-Phil Collins

Rhythm of the Night-Debarge

That's What friends Are For-Dionne Warwick

Venus-BananaRama

Addicted To Love-Robert Palmer

Would I Lie To You?-Eurythmics

We Are The World-USA For Africa

Like a Virgin- Madonna

Crazy For You-Madonna

Papa don't preach-Madonna

The Power of Love-Huey Lewis and The News

Do They Know It's Christmas?-Band Aid

Wake Me Up Before You Go Go-Wham!

I Just Called To Say I Love You-Stevie Wonder

Ill stop here. duh barf

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

ahhh gotcha!

Well it's cool they don't just play the U.S hits, but the U.K hits to.

Have you ever heard of Jack FM? it's a station in L.A that also goes all around the nation.. they play a mix of everything from old to modern rock, rap, pop etc.

They have strangely been playing a lot of Depeche Mode non hits lol i heard Blashemous Rumors 5 times this week & Strange love 6 or 7 times.
