^ Yeah he changed his opinions in five minutes depending on the subject. I understand he was complex but dude seemed like he had a lot of demons. But half the time I often thought he was playing into his Bishop character from "Juice".
Exactly. Much as I love Tupac, he was quite hypocritical. That's why I said he would probably criticize the celebs getting their own reality shows and then turn around and have one of his own.
During his later years before he passed, he seemed to not be liked that? Am I wrong, I was to little to remember
I think regardless its quite clear he compared about alot of heavy issues despite surface stuff that he commonly spoke out about |

Nah he was very flip-flopping even more so than he was between 1991-94 before he went to jail for assaulting that woman in New York. |

True. Plus in the final year of his life he would flip flop for two minutes. One minute he's ready to "destroy" those "bastards" who "set him up" in New York, next minute he says black people should stop fighting. What is it, man? He couldn't even keep up with his shit in his final interviews. I wonder if he was bipolar or manic depressive?
Well I think we can all agree that not only he had a tug of war within himself, but with the type of people he surrounded himself around, that surely didn't help either. I think inside he wanted to stop the fighting..he was probably exhausted of all of the bullshit, but at the same time, he didn't want to show weakness to those around him. It was bascially damned if you do, damned if you don't. I've said it before and will say it again, I personally think he wanted out with Death Row but he also was indebted to Suge Knight since he was the one who got him out of jail. He probably felt like Suge's puppet and was sick of it, but we will never really know. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

I COULD NOT have said it better myself!! Especially, Rick "Big Tit" Ross...

Eminem, 50 and Lil Wayne were already around when Pac and BIG were alive. Rick might've still been a correctional officer though.
1. Eminem was working at a local fast food chain after dropping out of high school when he failed the 9th grade for the third time.
2. Lil'Wayne was just starting middle (or junior high) school.

I'm not understanding the logic here..
Saying that Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game, Lil' Wayne, & Rick Ross wouldn't have a career is like saying that if somebody like Mariah Carey had died in 2000 that Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga, Katy Perry wouldn't have careers had she survived. And we all they do have successful careers with Mariah alive and well.
A person can't stay on top their ENTIRE careers. There will be ups and downs, and eventually irrelevancy.
You're missing the point. Those other rap artists that I've mention (as well as Ja-Rule and a few others that I forgot to mention in a earlier post) benefitted from 2pac's death. If that man was still alive, there would not have been so many rappers trying so hard to be THE heir to 2pac's throne. |

The difference is that 2Pac and Biggie died at the top of their careers

Retired and forgotten. Dying is what made them become the undeserving legends they became. Actually, if they had lived, who knows, maybe styles would have changed and we might have got back to jamming again.

Exactly. The key word is "dying". And death in the music industry can make any artist a legend in a hurry. |

I think Tupac would be an Academy Award nominated actor by now. He would have left the rap game and I think with John Singleton, they would've become the Scorsese/De Niro of our generation. I also think he would have used his influence in the political arena as well.
As for B.I.G. I think after being on Bad Boy for two more albums, he would have put more into producing other acts such as Junior M.A.F.I.A. and I could see him grooming other up and coming rappers. I believed both of these men, had they lived, would've squashed their beefs and even collaborated on a few projects before 'Pac decided he had had enough of the rap game and devoted his talents to his acting career.
Trust me, I believe the rap game would've taken another direction and people like DeWayne Carter, Onika Miraj, and Aubrey Graham would more likely be asking "Can you step to the side until the fries are done?" |

Y'all know bipolar disorder and manic depression are the same thing, right?
Anyhow, I think the real question in all of this is what the makers of the Tupac hologram would be doing today if he were still alive. And I see all of your creations as one perfect complex

Tupac would have gravitated to acting and who knows what Biggie would have resorted to. He sure as hell wasn't the Hollywood type. |

Wayne dropped out of middle school to start his career with BG. Eminem was with the Outsidaz for a good minute if I can recall. |

Tupac would have transitioned into acting and probably be doing gangster/action roles to make his money over rapping since his style fell off a while back.
Biggie would've been washed up ages ago along with every other Bad Boy artist who encountered Diddy's vampiric touch. When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! |
