hello everyone, i know that its a little early, but i have already began to think about the holidays

i was wondering what some of your favorite holiday albums are, and maybe you have some recomendations for me.

my favorites are the Kenny G christmas albums, absolutley beautiful.

We used to have a Christmas song tape that was sold by Avon back in the '80s. Me and my sister played the heck out of it. To this day, I love Dolly Parton's Winter Wonderland!

Not on the tape, but two of my all time favorites are Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Eve in Sarajevo. It's just brilliant! And also, Little Drummer Boy by The Harry Simeone Chorale. It's perfection. The end makes me tear up every time..."then he smiled at me....me and my drum."

It's easier on the wallet or pocketbook when you shop throughout the year, and it makes the holidays more enjoyable.

So true. Plus, the best sales IMO are near the end of spring/beginning of summer. That's when most of your speciality stores have their annual or semi-annual sales with prices either cut by 50% or 75% or both. Smart people know that the "Black Friday" sales are nothing but BS. I use to be one of those clueless folks out there, fighting for parking spaces and gritting my teeth when folks would bump into me on the day after Thanksgiving....thank goodness I came to my senses a couple of years ago and realized that Black Friday is nothing but a shopping illusion.

Spring and summer clearance sales, rewards points redemptions, and targeted shopping the first 10 months of the year may seem like a pain but come November it will be well worth it!
