Bruno Mars does a much better James Brown rendition...MUCH better.

He has some stage presence but nothing to jump up and down about.

He sounds just like the song so he sounds good live i'll give him that.

Besides that, I still dont get the big deal... it was okay

I like Miguel's performance...I don't think he was trying to do a James Brown impression at all, I think Miguel was just being himself. I actually take it as him bringing the "gentleman" attitude back to the game. To me that's a great thing giving that most of the artists in the industry are busy doing these awful choregraphed dance routines, singing in autotune to R&B/techno beats with oversexed, oversatured lyrics that we've heard time and time again. IMO Miguel is a breath of fresh air, I can dig him. nod

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I actually didn't like the dancing. It may have been the shoes, because I found it a little distracting.. I just wanna hear him sang! cool

Some of his songs and his overall style definitly is nod

However

I have heard some songs that Miguel has done that are kinda along the lines the same as lets say a Chris Brown song like that annoying Hickey song that he did that came out 2 summers ago.

I was just critically critiquing it because some people on the org be hyping this cat up like he the second coming of Prince. razz

He can sing live pretty well which I greatly applaud

I think some of his songs are good but some songs TO ME are no better than a Trey or CB song in my opinion but I guess if I HAD to choose between all of them I would choose Miguel because he at least tries to be creative on some of his songs.

He's a cool ass dude.

I hope he's got some legs. I've yet to hear his

album. If it's as good as "Adorn" then I'll wait

to hear the 2nd album. If the 2nd is on point,

ladies and germs, we got a star.

As for now, "Adorn" is getting ready to get played

the fuck out. The next single's gotta hit hard. I

wish him nothing but success.

I gotcha and it's cool to critique thumbs up!

I don't think he's the "second coming of Prince"...but I think he stands out far among his competitors right now.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

White shoes do bring attention to the feet and will allow u 2 c the flaws in his dancing more. I learned that from watching some dance show. lol

This song has really grown on me, but... it's a total "Sexual Healing" pastiche. lol

The more you listen to it the more obvious it becomes.
