That "hook" on "Diamonds" ("Shine bright like a diamond") is really annoying. Pretty sad it's dumb shit like that, which determines a "hit" on today's producers' and A&R people's minds.

I genuinely liked Good Girl Gone Bad and Rated R (well, 50-70% of them), but it's starting to sound like the record company isn't even giving her the best songs anymore.

As for her current image, well, you know how it goes: an attractive, stylish young woman starts partying, gets her first tattoo, parties some more, gets another tattoo...

Rihanna has announced plans to sell a platinum edition of her new album for $250.

The singer will release new record Unapologetic in the on Nov 20, and has bundled the collection with other exclusive products to create the ramped-up edition.

The Diamonds Executive Platinum Box edition includes a copy of the album, a 2GB credit card-style USB, a unisex T-shirt with a Michael Muller photo printed on, and seven art print 12x15 lithographs.

It will also contain three device adhesives featuring Rihanna's Unapologetic cover, logo and image, seven laptop stickers, a vinyl featuring remixes of her single 'Diamonds' and a View-Master containing 3D images depicting her style transformation.

A 40-page custom Rihanna Notebook with handwritten notes, a personal note by Rihanna to her Navy and an exclusive fan mosaic poster will also be bundled.

The Diamonds Executive Platinum Box is numbered and there will be limited copies available.

The platinum edition of Rihanna's Unapologetic will be released on December 11.

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up. The pop superstar is set to make her biggest debut yet on the charts with her seventh album Unapologetic.

According to chart pundits HITS Daily Double, RiRi is on track to sell between 240-260,000 in her first week, which would most likely put her at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200. The numbers would also give her the largest first-week of hercareer, topping 2010’s Loud, which opened with 207k copies.

The album has spawned the chart-topping single “Diamonds” and collaborations with Eminem, Chris Brown, and Future.

She's too pretty and cool for my liking.My cousin was raving about her new album last night when we were talking.

The thing is that She isnt the one churning them out, her writers and producers etc..are, also, though she is doing 1 a year she has shown very very little growth between records, and NO ONE on this earth can compare her 1 album a year to say Prince, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, etc...those cats were all putting out different records, Rihanna has almost no growth and seriously i cant tell the difference between albums or tell u what single is from what.

she is paid to come into the studio to record, to do interviews, tour, radio & tv. Paid a LOT, but a life like that has no freedom, artistically or otherwise. I guess they run a few songs by her and she picks and chooses, but it's not like writing your own music is it

I've listened to the 14 track version, not the deluxe version. There are a number of good songs on this album and Diamonds is the best one, it's beautiful, original and memorable. Loveeeeeee Song is second best and I especially like the chorus and I like how the song slows down a bit when the chorus starts. The problem with the album is all the mediocre songs like Numb, Fresh Off The Runway, Pour It Up, Get It Over With etc.

I give Unapologetic 5 out of 10.

Madonna hasn't really done a lot of work on other artists albums actually, and there's not alot of remixes by her that were played on radio stations. The only ones that come to mind are Express Yourself and Into The Groove. Mariah, yeah there's too many songs featuring her, including one of her own and there's all those "remixes" she does that really just change the song into a duet with someone or add a rap or too.

The album is hot. Standout tracks are "Diamonds", "Nobody's Business", ""Love Without Tragedy" / "Mother Mary", "Jump", "Numb" and "Loveeee Song". Congrats on the #1 album RiRi!!
