Highly underrated and unknown Goth/Post punk Band from the UK. One interesting thing about 1919 is that they and the band Killing Joke sound extremely,extremely alike. KJ formed in 1978 and 1919 formed in 1980 so who can really tell if one band copied the other. Two things are certain though. One, Killing Joke's first album(released in 1980) was a major influence on the post punk and Goth bands of that period and two, 1919 released some great singles before the broke up. They should have been a contender.
