Looking at his childhood, it was clear Axl's got some serious mental and emotional problems. Rock stardom surely didn't fix it.

Thing is much as i dislike Axl as a person, i feel bad for the shit that happened to him as a kid.

Besides the fact he was sexually assaulted, his mother, brother & father where all incredibly abusive to him physically. And he also used to get jumped quite a bit to when he was a youngin...

I read he joined a local street gang for protection & briefly worked for them breaking thumbs for people who owed money(Something he rarely discusses)

And moving to L.A Getting into the RNR drug scene.. i think all this fueled him as a performer though when had the good performances.

But it also fueled when he was well.... bad lol He is an interesting character... but in all the years since he has not grown past anything & that is just sad neutral

Axl struck me like a lot of rock stars who grew up with bad childhoods, from Marvin on down. Almost just like that but he let his demons out in the open. Kind of like Mike Tyson in the fallout of his heyday.

I watched the first couple video clips and I think people need to start looking at these celebrities like this.... obviously Axl has alot of burden from his childhood and family. It sounds like it was not very good so it seems thats why he lashes out and acts the way he does.

I am not saying its right but its important to understand why someone acts the way they do rather than be judgemental and just label him off as crazy. He probably was over the top in the first video but I exactly agreed with alot of what he said.

True. But at the same time, there comes a point where you have to get help if you can't handle it and your problems are affecting other people. He should get a shrink if doesn't have one. He's just 2 much sometimes.

LOL..Some of this is showbiz. Axl may have a certain amount of problems but people also need to realize it is the entertainment business. Some celebs act up to get on the front page of TMZ, gain press. If Axl, Prince, Madonna..etc they will do things that are "off" but I've come to believe some of these antics are not always because of personal things going on upstairs but just acting, ever acting up to keep public interest. From the get go GNR believed in any press was good press.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?
