How Come These Three NEVER Came Out With An Album?

I can't be the only one who grew up loving these three. They weren't on the screen that much, but they are one of the most memorable parts of the movie with their strong harmonies and winning presence.

Tisha Campbell did come out with an album during her peak years of the Martin series. Back in '94 or '95.

Yeah I jammed to this one back in the day:

But the crime was that Tachina Arnold never came out with an album. The second coming of Gladys Knight!

Thank you getxxx for posting Michelle Weeks Facebook page. She has put out a few club stompers over the years. I have some killer dubs of The Light on vinyl.

Great movie and they do make lovely harmonies together.

Segueing just a bit here I was just thinking about the whole lawsuit that Tisha filed against Lawrence and there was always something about it that didn't set right with me.

I do know that Martin was going through a lot at that time reportedly.

But I couldn't help remembering that Tisha also filed a suit against Spike Lee when she did "School Days". Something about royalties from the songs she performed. Then she goes and sues Lawrence YEARS into the show, like he JUST started harrassing her five years in? Not to say it's impossible but...

Plus to me the most telling thing: Her best friend, Tachina Arnold, remained on the show, did many scenes with him during the dispute, and remembers him fondly to this day, even performing with him in "Big Moma's House."

I think they have rekindled their relationship since that time. I distinctly remember back in 2005 or 2006, when BET had an awards show for comedy called 'The BET Comedy Awards,' and they were honoring Martin with a lifetime achievement award. They had Tisha and Tichina honor him and it seemed that they were in great spirits.
