Check out what she did in the bridge.
She forgot the lyrics and made the song even more memorable.
AKA the best version IMO.
Her signature song.
This song and Billie Holiday's "Solitude" are the ONLY Duke Ellington cover songs I enjoy more than the original.
And of course,,,,
These only scratch the surface. Madame Trina's youtube channel doesn't work anymore, but she posted some radio broadcasts that I'm sure liable to stop anybody who thinks they know Sarah's music on their tracks.

I really recommend "Sarah Vaughn Sings George Gershwin." Originally released in 1958, her voice is amazing on Gershwin classics. Her 'Summertime' and 'My Man's Gone Now' sound as though they were made for her! You can find tracks such as these on youtube... and I think that once you discover this gem, you will be "hooked" to find even more!

Checkout the songs when it reaches 2:40 till the end. Hear the natural vibrato of Ms. Vaughan's voice; she holds that note. The second thing is when she sings "Street" she's holding the Stree all the way to the very end and you'll hear the last syllable "t". That's what I mean by tonal control. Think that's easy? It is not.
Next time you watch Beyonce singing, when you hear her "vibrato" in her voice you'll notice her lower jaw moving all around. That is called a gimmick. You never have total control of a note, you can't practice proper circular breathing, in many instances the singer is slightly off key. Ms. Knowles isn't the only pulls that mess Ms. Aguilera does it too.
I'm going to give you a list of the Essential albums of Ms. Vaughan in a minute. She didn't only do the slow songs, the woman could swing your azz to another century and
