Blondie- Slow Motion One of the biggest wtf in pop music history... has to be the fact they decided against making this the 4th single on Eat To The Beat.
This song is a pop masterpiece, the harmony, the thumping beat, the lyrics & vocals. Are all 100% pop perfection! that capture the late 70's & 80's very well.
Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

Love Blondie... I saw them for the first time in 2010 at a small club and I felt like I was going back in a time machine--they were that good. And Deb was vogueing way before Madonna ever thought of it... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

The 3rd or 4th album I ever owned when I was a kid. I played the hell out of this album. "Eat To The Beat" is still my fave track from this release.

In the liner notes for the double cd set of Blondie (The Platinum Collection), bassist Nigel Harrison, says it was intended to be released as a single. Producer Mike Chapman even started working on a single mix for it, but for whatever reason it was scrapped. Among the guest vocalists singing backup is Lorna Luft, sister of Liza Minelli.
