Its actually Spin.com, which is another magazine that no one buys.

That photo on the jump of the dude rolling something is pretty offensive and suggestive. If the chick in the pic is a rapper they should identify her.

In fact the whole premise is pretty offensive and racist towards white women and inadvertantly black folk in general for existing. People rap. Too many people if ya ask me (ya didn't)

Towards the end the author/authority are literally advertising Tumblr sites.

They should do a 50 dumbest "trendsetter" magazine or magazine writers feature. I'm sure they can find 50 ez. In house.

I don't think Betty is white. But Gwyneth Paltrow is:

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Michelle Visage (formally of Seduction & S.O.U.L. S.Y.S.T.E.M.) also was a female rap vocalist for a moment.

I used to listen to Betty, and I recall she was of Asian ethnicity, maybe Filipino or Malaysian. Don't remember which. She had some kind of lawsuit in the early 1990's and that was where her race was mentioned. Looks "white" means nothing. I've seen Mexicans and Black people who look white and can pass.
