Singer Fiona Apple was reportedly arrested in the Texas border town of Sierra Blanca on Wednesday.

Reports indidate the hashish was found on the 35-year-old's tour bus, and notes that similar drug busts involving Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer have taken place in the same town (population, according to the 2000 census: 533). Apple is currently being held in Hudspeth County Jail.

So far, no further details have been reported.

On Apple's Facebook page, a Tuesday listing put the singer in Mesa, Ariz., where she performed at the Mesa Arts Center.

As one fan posted among the comments: "Friday in Houston! I'm excited." She was also scheduled to perform on Thursday night in Austin, Texas. When reached, a rep for the singer had no comment.

Not my Fiona! I can't believe this stuff still happens. I guess it's a slow day. They are $10,000 bucks happy, but hey now she can hang with Willie and Snoop. I was reading in the forums that she had to wear that shirt. Apple's oversized black-and-white outfit is actually a jail jumpsuit, according to Rusy Fleming, a spokesman for the Hudspeth County sheriff.

not a FA fan here.....nor a 420 dude...but even I think this is bullshit. The U.S. needs to grow up a bit.

Damn forgot about this chick. She's still relevant? Perhaps she has a new album coming out and this is the promotion for it?

Yeah, striped black-and-white prison garb is not entirely fashion-forward. Elvis rocked it best in '57.

This is the same place in Texas where Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson got arrested.

More musicians should watch out when they go down there.
