Need to update my album collection, would like your help

Hey music lovers,

I'm looking to update my whole CD collection as I haven't brought anything in ages. My genre of musicians is varied, from artists such as Neil young, Marvin Gaye, Bjork, The beatles, the pixies, D'angelo, John Butler, Tower of Power and Pearl Jam to name but a few. I'm looking at music from any year from any artist. I hope you can help Thanks.

i didn't list the most obvious stuff like the "greatest albums ever", you can just google up top 100 or 1000 best albums from Q and rolling stone

thus no...

pet sounds

revolver

ok computer

dark side of the moon

nevermind

what's going on

let's get it on

hot buttered soul

songs in the key of life

white album

etc, as everyone should have those already, and i would presume someone mentioning specific artists would already have checked out their work, and the related artists material

some of the stuff i've mentioned is your typical classic album, others are less known great classic albums. there is quite a mix of styles. if you look down the list and recognise stuff you know and like, then it should give you an indication that you will be interested in the rest. in the computer age you can google the albums, read about them and hear bits on itunes and youtube etc. if you like some of the artists mentioned, you should also check out the rest of their work, such as infected by the the. i just listed one album by artist. not a complete list by any means, just a starter
