I am obsessed with this woman! And her discography is huge! I must have over 100 songs including demos and her 3 albums. I think she's a really emotive singer and she's like Amy Winehouse in that she never sings a song the same way twice.

For me it's all about the timbre of the voice....cool cool

I recommend the song Yayo for new listeners...

She has a nice duet with Bobby Womack in his album.

Perhaps, perhaps not. But she gives rather extraordinary eye candy- straight out of a David Lynch dream sequence- and therein lies (at least part) of her appeal...which I was always under the impression was for a limited audience.

Yeah, it's the David Lynch / early-90s aesthetic about her that really pleases certain people.

I think she's fairly good as a songwriter, though.

I liked The Born to Die album, and think perhaps people had their expectations too high for her or something... Folks were throwing her under the bus like crazy a few months ago, like she was the second coming of Milli Vanilli confused

Her voice is kind of cool and I like this whole retro lady meets mannequin vibe se has going on.

If you will, so will I

Her voice is unique and I also find her looks attractive. Her album is way too samey though, but the title track is wonderful.

It's the type of songs she is singing too. Not another Ke$ha.

Yes really.

A glammed-up 60's sex kitten version of a David Lynch starlet, but dark, noir, and Lynchian still.
