International Colombian pop star Shakira is allegedly being blackmailed over a sex tape she made with current boyfriend and FC Barcelona player Gerard Pique.

According to two of her former employees, they are in posession of the sex tape and are currently shopping it around the highest bidder. The unidentified former employees are also a couple and supposed worked for Shakira for over 11 years. There asking price is reportedly over six figures.

The couple also have an agent based in Barcelona who says the video "lasts about 15 minutes" and that it it was recorded via mobile phone by an employee while in the cockpit of a boat.

Shakira's lawyers have not commented on the alleged existence of the sex tape but have commented on the couple's accusation that they were wrongly dismissed from working for Shakira stating that such accusations were false.

I can understand not many people liking her voice, but she's a folksinger firstly that transformed into a popstar in the states but listen to her work and her lyrics in spanish. I suppose if you really want to you can blame Shakira for not making sure she was alone with her man at the time of the encounter but you'd be wrong.

This isn't some sex tape she made herself and it "accidentally" got out. No, she was spied on and taped!

Viewing such tape would be morally reprehensible.

She definitely has a unique vocal style....her voice is an acquired taste on some of her English-language songs,she sounds 'awkward' at times.

She sounds like Kermit the frog. She just became so popular because of her look and those bedroom moves.

Not true at all. it's all about taste. She's been known in latin america since she was 12 years old (first album came out in 1991) and worked with many of the greatests artists in Latin America. I can admit that I personally dislike her english work, but her spanish work is excellent. Like I said before, Gloria Estefan & Sony totally changed her style to fit the american market, from redhaired/blackhaired rock-bohemian/folksinger to blonde - britney spears look. Her socio-politcal lyrics don't belong in mainstream music anyways, sad but true.

Her hips don't lie, and now, neither does Shakira. The Colombian pop star — who is set to temporarily replace Christina Aguilera on "The Voice" next season — finally confirmed the rumor that she and her soccer star beau, Gerard Pique, are expecting a baby. "As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" the 35-year-old wrote on her website on Wednesday. "At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days," including her performance at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas this weekend. But, she adds, "I'm sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular and I will be closely following everything that happens there! … Big kiss!"

According to Colombian magazine Gente, Shakira and the Spanish-born Pique, 25, are expecting a baby boy, who is set to arrive in January. The report from last month adds that the couple has already nicknamed him Ulicito. Shakira's pregnancy was first reported in July when she was spotted visiting an obstetrician in Miami.

Shakira and Pique, who plays center back for FC Barcelona, have been dating since at least March 2011, just two months after she announced her split from her boyfriend of 11 years, Antonio de la Rua, the son of a former president of Argentina. Earlier that year, it had been rumored that she was already seeing Pique, although she denied it.

The two first met in the spring of 2010, about the same time he appeared in the music video for her World Cup anthem, "Waka Waka," and the same year Spain took the title. Since then, Shakira has been spotted cheering on her man at FC Barcelona games all over the world, including a match in Dallas last year.

But not all is so rosy for Shakira. Her ex, de la Rua, is suing her for $250 million because he claims he gave up his career as a publicist to solely focus on brokering deals for her, including one for $100 million with Live Nation.

Yes, Shakira is pregnant.

The singer, 35, confirmed the news in a post on her website Wednesday, explaining that she needs to cancel a work commitment as a result.

“As some of you may know, [boyfriend] Gerard [Piqué] and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby! At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days,” she writes.

“This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival … I’d like to thank Clear Channel and my fans for their constant love and understanding. Big kiss!”

Shakira and Piqué, 25, central defender for FC Barcelona,confirmed their relationship in March 2011. This will be the first child for both.

On Tuesday, NBC announced that she will temporarily replace Christina Aguilera as a judge on season four of The Voice.

We need better privacy laws in the U.S., particularly in this digital age.
