Since y'all are deep into old school, HELP!
NAME THIS SONG: I don't know the name, and I haven't heard it since 1981 or 1982, but the chorus goes: "A little magic of the funk (uuunh hunh) is all you really need" or SOMETHING like that. For the life of me, I have no idea who it's by, but I remember it sounded a LOT like "Peanut Butter" by Lenny White, or maybe More Bounce to the Ounce by Zapp. I don't remember. I only remember the chorus! HELP! The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Oh yes Willie Hutch,,thats him aaah,U´re thinking of (ain´t that)Mellow Mellow. That´s not the song I meant.I´m talking about the smooth yet heavy bass driven "Mellow Mellow Right on with Lowrell from the 1978 album Overdose of love. That´s the bassline Massive attack sampled 4 one of their hits from their first album. /peace manki
