my fave was when a veteran artist would drop by and request an old school joint of the day.

Snoop Dogg got them to play "The Bird" by The Time and got up and did the dance, way before he covered "Cool".

Mariah Carey got them to play "Candy" by Cameo, and sang a bit of "Rumors" by Timex Social Club to answer one of the questions.

106 was never real good even when AJ and Free hosted it but they were tolerable compared to the scum that replaced them. And I been said BET died when they took all that programming out. Surprised BET still exist actually (same with MTV) but we know, ViaCON's always ruining shit.

Terrence guest-hosted on E! News in the spring and he was neatly dressed, witty and articulate--the complete opposite of himself on 106 & Park. Getting "fired" from BET could not have come at a better time for him.

Terrence didn't get fired from bET. He opted to leave. He had become too big for them. He is the next Will Smith....
