Anyone been to his concerts recently? I'm thinking about getting tix for his show at the Silva Concert Hall, Hult Center on Oct. 28. What are his concerts like? Are they worth It? Also anyone going?

i saw him a couple of years ago and he wasn't bad. he himself was pretty fit for a guy of his age, especially considering he died once or twice

Yep. Definitely worth it. You won't regret it. I went to see him in '08, just because he's Billy Idol. I went to see him again 4 days later and seen him 3 more times since then. He's great. He did have a better setlist in '08 though. But he still basically plays most of his hits and some older Generation X songs and some new ones. The shows are close to 2 hours and you can tell he loves performing. Also Steve Stevens is definitely worth seeing. And not to forget Derek Sherinian on keys. He seems to pop up everywhere.

I saw him back in the Fall of 2008 (I think!) and it was a great, great show. Worth every penny and his band was killer.

I saw him in '05 and loved it. Not sure how he's held up but he was sounding amazing then.

^I saw him again in July and he still got it. I just preferred his setlist from '08.

I can't go to concerts anymore, have too many bills to pay, but would have loved to see billy, and currently kiss and motley crue who just performed here...I don't go to rock concerts but would love to be a part of the experience at some point

He will be in Seattle to do a fan's birthday Party.

So, Mr. Idol posted on his website that he was coming to do a whole concert for his birthday.
