I love some of the Velvet Rope era look, but the Together Again look is one of her worst.

Overall I'd say the Janet era. Not only did she look great but that's pretty much what I emulated my style on throughout my teenage years.

Mid and late-90s (Design Of A Decade-era?). There were some really nice promo shots of her around then. The pictures of her with the red hair made her look a bit childish, perhaps.

the shiny red her and that look was supposed to have an alternative 'underground' feel to it

The side view of the long hair is the better pic.

Dream Street. She had no weave or wigs, she wasn't overdone when she was made up, and she didn't have that stiff hard body yet that looks like she worked out at a gym.

Janet can do no wrong to me. I like all her looks with one exception..... The Rock Witchu Tour look. Even though it was my all time favorite tour of hers. Because she really showed her fans on that tour how much she loved them. By adding rare songs that she never sung live. She was just humble & grateful on that tour & it showed. But the look was horrid!!!!!!!!!





I do like this one..It was a sight for sore eyes to see her in a dress for a change. She looks hot in them. But she rarely wears them...That was the highlight for me. But the rest leaved a lot to be desired Even though I prefer the thick Janet...

Velvet Rope... the album, tour, videos... all of it was really edgy and cool.

yes - she looked (dare i say it) ugly - The look was awful beyond words.
