They probably do this to make sure there are enough orders to go to production with since all their releases seem to be limited edition runs. Kinda makes sense Demand vs Supply. But, for customers who are naive enough to order directly from the label's site, to consistantly give them release dates that are delayed for many months aint cool. Especially if you are going to charge their credit card as soon as the order is placed rather than charging the card once the order has shipped - six months from the original order date. Nice! But these Japan reissues are so damn expensive I refuse to pay $40 for one CD,even if it is nicely remastered and packaged.
What I'd like to see is,all of Donna's albums get the remastered treatment and possibly packaged together in one big box (like the EW&F set).Every album from 'Love To Love You' to 'Mistaken Identity'....I hope that her estate and the labels involved are working on it.

LOVE Madame X! Hey, Dave! Let me know if u hear anything from BBR! Another great one was "One Light in A Blackout" by The Quick (1982 Epic/CBS.) This one featured "Zulu" and "Rhythm of the Jungle." I already petitioned BBR on it. See what happens. Hope you're well, brotha! Hungry? Just look in the mirror and get fed up. | |

Well, if they are going to use that power-outage lie to explain away their constant delays, you should have suggested that perhaps they should think about moving to another building. they are so full of baloney! Bill Withers Complete Sussex and Columbia Albums box set available both at Sony’s PopMarket and at general retail. The 9-CD box set will include each and every one of Withers’ studio and live albums, all newly remastered from the original analog tapes by Mark Wilder:
As is customary with Legacy’s Complete Albums Collection box sets, each album is packaged in a replica mini-LP sleeve reproducing that LP’s original front and back cover artwork. The new booklet includes complete discographical information for each album, along with an introduction to the box set written by Bill Withers. An essay originally written by the artist on the occasion of the Legacy CD reissue of Just As I Am has also been retained. In addition, complete notes originally written for various LPs at the time of their release (such as Live At Carnegie Hall, +’Justments, Making Music, and Naked & Warm) have also been included. Lastly, the booklet features a new, 1,500-word essay from Michael Eric Dyson, a professor of sociology at Georgetown University and a Political Analyst on MSNBC. The Complete Sussex and Columbia Masters has been produced by Leo Sacks (Aretha Franklin’s Take a Look: Complete on Columbia and much more).
The deluxe two-CD reissues of both Fine Young Cannibals albums, will be disappointed to learn that the release has been pushed back from 19 November 2012 to a new provisional date of 3 Jan 2013. We understand that the final track listings are still to be signed off and this has caused the delay.
